Matt started CrossFitting on September 11, 2012. He has been at FCCF since the beginning and started coaching in 2016. He enjoys WODs sans-barbell, especially chippers, but you can catch him practicing his snatch every Saturday. Matt’s day hustle is working as an instructor pilot at Patrol Squadron 30, NAS Jacksonville, where he teaches newly-winged Naval Aviators to fly the P-8A Poseidon. Matt’s other hobbies are reading and making cocktails.

What’s your most embarrassing fitness moment?
Doing Fran in 6:45 at 75 lbs after a two week vacation in France. I ended up naked, puking, and pooping in the bathroom.
